Anna Schell - Level 1

In my early 20s I was drawn to yoga out of an intrigue to learn a new way to move my body and connect with myself after playing a lot of sports. I started a beginners course at Coast Yoga School in Adelaide and instantly felt at home.

Travelling in India and practicing under senior teachers, strengthened my eagerness to commit to this path. This led my husband and I to move to the Blue Mountains from South Australia, so that I could begin teacher training with Lulu.

In 2019 I passed my assessment to become a certified level 1 Iyengar yoga teacher.

Since my first practice Iyengar yoga has resonated deeply with me. I love this method for it’s precision and for the sequencing that feels like a song with great rhythm and story unfolding within. It can be both invigorating and restorative, two equally important aspects that help me to alter the internal state.

The discipline of my yoga practice allows me to continuously meet myself in each moment. As we are constantly changing, the practice is infinite.

The Blue Mountains community and beautiful surrounds inspires growth as a student, teacher and now as mother.
